What was the name of the show about the two guys picking up discards on the street to fix up and return.?

I remember they were two brothers from Canada who owned a big lazy dog. They'd drive around, pick up someone's 'trash' sitting on the sidewalk, turn it into something else, then return it to the house, ring the bell and run. They'd take the items (two different ones per show) back to their workshop and salvage what they could. For instance, they got an old console stereo/turntable, took the speakers and innards out and used the shell to build a bar with a tap beer pull. (I remember that one 'cause I had one just like it and had dreams of doing the same to it. Too bad I was forced to trash it.) They'd turn an old couch into a love seat, or a brass bed frame into the frame for a beautiful display cabinet. Then they'd haul it back to the house they found it at, ring the doorbell and watch the people's reaction to their revamped 'trash' from down the street.
